The River Bluff and Lexington Men’s soccer rivalry lived up to the hype yet again as an own goal by Lexington High School in the second half gave the Gators the win and continued their region winning streak of 33 games.
The game was tight until the second half when a River Bluff’s Jonathan Foster made an attempt on goal and the shot hit off of Lexington’s Alex Karp to score the Gators only goal of the night. The win moves the Gators to a record of 7-0-1 and 3-0 in the region with their next region match March 14th at White Knoll. Start time is 7:15 pm.
