The Varsity Competitive Cheer team had another strong showing last night at River Bluff High School. The 2nd Annual Battle at the Bluff had a tough field that looked to prepare the ladies for a tough run to claim a 5A state title.
Squads from power programs such as Lexington and Chapin were present and presented the cheer team with competition worthy of a state title run. The ladies program was run almost flawlessly, so much so that they claimed runner-up in the Battle at the Bluff behind rival Lexington.
The JV and Middle School Competitive Cheer Teams placed first in their divisions, so the future of competitive cheer at RBHS is bright.
The ladies will travel to Dorman this weekend for the Cavalier Classic to continue to fine tune for a state title run.
