River Bluff Cross Country has been off and running since the beginning of the school year. With some impressive runners on the roster, the inaugural Gator Runners are looking to make some noise in the region.
In yesterdays Pelion Invitational, River Bluff had the first place runner for the men’s competition, Tony Morales, a captian for the men, finished first and helped to lead the team to a 6th place finish out of 18 teams entered.
Tony has been outstanding in his brief career at RBHS, his accompllishments include: qualifying for the World Championship, 10th Place in World Triathlon in London, Broke the course record @ The SC Trail Championship, Top 20 @ Pan American Triathlon Championship in Brazil, and a 3rd Place Finish @ The Junior Elite Triathlon Nationals.
Fans of Cross Country in Lexington are not shocked by his accomplishments as he is just continuing from where he left of from his brilliant career at Lexington High School.
