It’s Game Day, Gator Nation! Get ready for a night full of football and festivities, as we welcome home River Bluff alumni for our annual Welcome Home game. The Gators will square off against region and district foe White Knoll High School tonight – kickoff is set for 7:30 PM.

The Welcome Home celebration tonight caps Spirit Week at River Bluff with the introduction of Welcome Home Court and crowning of the Welcome Home Queen and King at halftime. Following the game, the celebration moves to the River Cafe for the Welcome Home Dance entitled “A Tale as Old as Time.” Students without tickets may purchase them at the door. Titled “Friday Night Lights Marrowthon,” the event is to to help promote, raise awareness and recruit donors to be added to the Bone Marrow Registry.

Tonight has also been dubbed a “Litter Free Game” as RBHS and Palmetto Pride have teamed up to ask everyone to Leave No Trace tonight. Fans, participants and volunteers will be encouraged to pick up trash during and after the game. T-shirts will be thrown out by the Gator Cheerleaders and everyone will leave the game with a car litter bag.
