Bass Fishing Club · Gator Anglers Post Impressive Results in 2nd Year

The official SC Lower State B.A.S.S. High School Tournament Trail year-end results have been released and River Bluff’s Bass Fishing Club occupies a prominent position, with 4 angler teams making the top 25. This is an impressive accomplishment, considering that this is River Bluff’s 2nd year in existence and the trail consisted of 122 teams.

Evan Eckstrom & Braden Cordero – 2018 Lower State Championship

Cracking the Top 10 was the team of Evan Eckstrom and Braden Cordero, who finished 9th Place overall with 1817 points. Hunter Eubanks and Kathleen Beardsley placed 16th overall with 1776 points. Coming in at the 20th overall spot was Jared Nelson and Tucker Riddle with 1735 points. Following close behind was Gray Summerall and Carter Lacy in 23rd overall with 1708 points.

Kathleen Beardsley won Female Angler of the Year for the 2nd Year in a row for the tournament trail.

Finally, a HUGE thank you goes out to all Boat Captains who volunteered their time throughout this year to make this happen.

The Gators hope for another successful year next year as they hit the water with a couple of years of tournament experience under their belts. If interested in joining the team, or being a boat captain or a business sponsor please contact Paige Steele or Walt Overbay.
