After a first-round cancellation from Columbia High, the River Bluff Gators varsity women’s basketball team took on a tough Socastee squad in second-round action of the Zaxby’s Tip-Off Classic Preseason Tournament. Although the game was close at times, the Gators jumped out to a lead early and never looked back. At the final buzzer, River Bluff remained in the winner’s bracket with a 54-42 victory.

Freshman Samira Khalil led the way for the Gators with 21 points.
